Picnicface is a sketch-comedy group based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Formed in 2006, the group's fast-paced, absurdist style has quickly caught on with millions of Internet viewers and live audiences alike. They won the Audience Award for Best Troupe at the 2008 Toronto Sketch Festival, and were recently nominated for their second consecutive Canadian Comedy Award for Best Sketch Troupe. Their live show has been praised by the Kids In The Hall’s Dave Foley, who called it “distressingly good,” and their online work, including Powerthirst, has garnered over 40 million online views and the praise of Will Ferrell, Attack of the Show, and the Guardian UK.
